Ficus Ginseng stores water in its thick exposed roots, meaning you only need to water every 2-3 weeks.
The tern 'ginseng' is Chinese for 'root' which is an underground part of the plant that has been exposed.
It likes bright indirect light best, but will tolerate a moderately shady spot too. Avoid harsh sunlight which can damage the leaves.
Whilst it can tolerate low humidity due to the waxy surface on its leaves it will thrive in a more humid environment.
Allow soil to dry out at the top between waterings. Overwatering can cause leaf drop.
Our plant heights are given as an approximate range of what you will receive as every plant will be slightly different.
