These tulips all thrive in sunny, sheltered spots with well-draining soil. Plant the bulbs in autumn at a depth of about three times their height, ensuring the pointed tip faces upward. Through winter, keep the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. In spring, once shoots appear, water regularly during dry spells and remove faded flowers promptly to encourage strong bulb growth for the next year. Allow foliage to die back naturally before trimming, as this replenishes the bulbs for future blooms. For best results, lift and store the bulbs in a cool, dry place after the leaves have fully yellowed, Replant them in fresh soil the following autumn.
