Plant Bio
Pitcher Plants grow in rosettes of phyllodes that are modified into nectar filled pitchers very efficient in catching insects of various types. The phyllodes are usually vertical but can sometimes be arched or even horizontal. Their size vary depending on species and can range from 5-90cm in height. In spring solitary cup shaped flowers with 4-5 sepals and 5 petals.
