Light
Alocasia prefer bright indirect sunlight generally but depending on the species needs can vary slightly.
Humidity
These are tropical plants so prefer temperatures above 20 degrees centigrade and high humidity. They will do particularly well in bathrooms. Keep away from cold draughts.
Watering
Alocasia are water loving plants and should be kept moist all year around. However the soil must drain well and not become soggy to avoid root rot. During winter months the plant becomes dormant and requires less water.
