Ficus benjamina is a tree reaching 30 m tall in natural conditions, with gracefully drooping branchlets and glossy leaves 6–13 cm oval with an acuminate tip. When grown indoors it tends to stay much more manageable in size. The bark is light gray and smooth.
The Ficus Benjamina does not like to be move around. The moves gives them a shock causing them to drop their leaves and grow new ones which can leave them looking bare.
It likes bright indirect light best, but will tolerate a moderately shady spot too.
Ficus Benjamina comes from the tropics so enjoys high temperatures and humidity.
