Lithops are often known as flowering or living stones because that's exactly what they appear to be! Some varieties have speckled markings and other have spots. The flowers are white or yellow and emerge in autumn or winter. Lithops are relatively easy to grow if given sufficient sun and a suitable well-drained soil.
