A traditional, quality item which is hand made in East Sussex. Formed from from coppiced sweet chestnut used for the handle and rim and recycled cricket bat willow for the boards of the trug. These are the same as the original products first made in 1829 when they were invented by Thomas Smith.
Incredibly hard wearing, superbly made but still light to carry.
