Thelypteris decursive-pinnata is also known as the Japanese Beech Fern. This hardy fern is semi-evergeen to deciduous fern that produces light, airy, upright, soft-green, finely-cut fronds. It will slowly spread by producing underground runners.
Likes moist soil in a partly shaded site. Once established, the Japanese beech fern will tolerate periods of drought and also some exposure, this is a tough addition to the fern collection or woodland garden.
