Prunus 'Fugenzo' is a rather beautiful flowering cherry tree which is loved for its ornamental value, particularly during the spring when it provides large, blousy, pink, drooping flowers.

  • This charming tree eventually grows to a height of up to 8m, with a similar spread. It has a broad, flattish head.
  • Plant in a sunny site and don't allow the roots to remain in flooded ground.
  • Leaves are a coppery colour when young.
  • Flowers are produced during March and April
  • This is classed as a small tree growing up to 4m/13ft after 10 years and ultimately up to 8m.
  • All trees are grown for a full growing season before despatch in a 12 (litre) pot.
  • Sizes and shapes vary but every care is taken to produce trees that are proportionate to the natural vigour and habit of the individual tree.
  • Where appropriate they are summer pruned to encourage branching and flowering /fruiting.
  • Height is generally around 1.5m.
