Hoya Carnosa 'Tricolor', is a great trailing or hanging house plant. It can eventually hang to about 1.2 metres or more. Hoya is a family of succulent vines and is otherwise known as a 'wax plant'. The leaves have a waxy coating which cuts down on water loss. Hoya are loved particularly for their fragrant flowers and this particular variety will eventually produce a cluster of ball-shaped pinkish white blooms, particularly when grown in a light spot. They tend to hang down rather like mini-umbrellas. They are highly perfumed and tend to scent the whole room!
