Miscanthus are wonderful ornamental grasses that provide interest throughout the year and often look their best when other plants in the garden are fading. Fountains of foliage grow up in early summer and bear plumes of white or pink flowers in late summer. later in the year these fade into shades of biscuity brown. Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light' is named for its attractive stems. It has gracefully arching, finely textured light foliage. The cream margins on the grass blades glisten in the morning light.
