A tiny little shrine-like temple!

Here's a succulent house plant that you might not see very often. Crassula 'Buddha's Temple' does, indeed, look rather like a place in which the holy sage might worship! Whether you are a Buddhist supporter or not, this interesting plant will capture your imagination with its intriguing shape.

  • In time it will grow about up to 15cm tall (6 ").
  • It starts branching at varying levels from the sides of each column of foliage.
  • The flat, thin leaves are silvery-grey to greyish-green in colour.
  • The leaves form a square column which measures about 2.5cm (1") in diameter.
  • Crassula 'Buddha's Temple' will eventually develop spherical red, orange or white flowers which appear at the top of the plant.
  • Keep this plant in good quality compost and ensure not to over-water.
  • Allow the plant to dry partially before watering thoroughly. Do not allow the plant to stand in water.
