Cowslip Primula veris perennial plant in a 17cm pot . Hardy perennial RHS AGM

Out of stock
Primula veris, the native Cowslip, is one of the most striking native primula species. This cheerful flower looks at its best when in groups, especially if naturalised in grass.

•The cheerful, early spring perennial produces several flower stems which are crowned by a cluster of long, funnel-shaped blooms, rich yellow and sweetly fragrant.

•They appear in early spring and last for many weeks, leaving an attractive seed head.

•Allow it to seed freely if you want this Primula veris to naturalise.

•There are many coloured hybrids available in shades of red and orange, but the simple yellow species is the most charming for naturalising in generous quantities.

•The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
