Clivia miniata, often known as the Kaffir lily or Natal lily, is a flowering house plant with evergreen foliage. This makes a striking house plant and is equally at home in the conservatory. These house plants are loved particularly for their bold, strap-shaped, dark-green leaves and trumpet-shaped flowers.

  • This particular plant has orange flowers.
  • Clivia are evergreen perennials with swollen bulb-like bases.
  • The species originates from low-altitude woodlands in South Africa.
  • Enjoys natural light but prefers to be kept out of direct sunlight.
  • Keep the compost moist but do not allow to stand in water.
  • Sold in a 13cm pot.
  • Currently measures about 60cm tall.
