strelitzia 9cm

Strelitzia reginae is commonly known as a Bird of Paradise plant because the exotic flowers really do look like a bird's head and beak.

These tender evergreen perennials love a conservatory position in the heat.

The rather beautiful orange blue flowers appear from early spring onwards and last for many weeks.

These house plants like a humid atmosphere but they can be placed outside in the sheltered garden for the summer.

Use a free-draining compost. Re-pot every few years.

Feed during the growing season and keep well watered.

Allow to partially dry out during the winter.

Young Plant Sold in a 9cm pot with a colour cardboard sleeve and care instructions.
